Hello Brite Future!
My passion as a Spirit Inspired Empowerment Coach and Hiking Guide has led me to combine both modalities as I have personally witnessed and experienced for myself the transformation that nature has on the mind, body, and spirit.
My journey began at the young age of ten when I became my mother's therapist as she battled depression. While I supported her, nature became my escape, keeping me centered through activities like riding my bicycle, climbing trees, and exploring the woods.
In my teens, and into my early forties, I struggled with low self-esteem and emotional eating. Using junk food as a crutch to make me feel better about myself. It was a vicious cycle with no resolve.
I married in my early twenties and had two children before I was thirty. I was working, taking care of my family, and volunteering for multiple charities.
I loved it until it started taking over my life.
I was someone who gave 120 percent to everyone, but myself. This lead me down a path of stress, anxiety, worry and put a huge strain on my marriage. I eventually burnt out and for a year I was an emotional wreck.
Taking my life back into my own hands, I embarked on a journey to transform my physical, and emotional self. I employed a personal trainer, delved into self-help books, and uncovered learned behaviors from childhood that had impacted me.
Then I met “my guru”, my new supervisor in the new position that I took in a holistic health office. She was my inspiration and introduced me into mindfulness and spirituality. I learned about the healing energy of Reiki and became a Reiki Practitioner.
This was my catalyst into becoming a health coach and working with women to help them prevent burn out by prioritizing their needs and desires.
I now empower women to achieve a life of freedom, peace, and joy through mindful work/life balance and help them discover wholeness in their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
“Nature has been for me, for as long as I can remember, a source of solace, inspiration, adventure, and delight; a home, a teacher, a companion.”-Lorraine Anderson.
